1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

He wasn't the only one that I bumped into. After the horse episode in which I lost two good chances I ended up getting two rabbits one a 35 yard on my zero neck shot which went clean through both sides and as I took a 15 yard head shot a dog walker rounded the corner as I was carrying the rabbit away, he was an old boy that thankfully wasn't an anti. He asked me about my rifle thinking it was a .22 rimmy and he couldn't believe I was taking rabbits with a .177 as he thought only .22 was up to the job, turns out he used to own a .22 webley mk 3 back in the day also owned an airsporter but preferred the mk 3 also had a couple of webley pistols. Nice chap .

I understand why you are a bit wary of them, that mare on your paddock perm where we have to climb over and pass her, she always turns and puts your nuts within hoof distance! - quite worrying!

I had one come up to me in the pitch black and knock me off the fence as I climbed over, a quick nudge up the arse from his nose and I was in the mud on hands and knees - he only wanted a fuss!

This was on my Leicestershire permission Steve. They usually keep out my way but for some reason they followed me everywhere today. They give me the willys , ever tried taking a shot with one or more behind you it's very unnerving.

If you remember when we zeroed on those apples last time, the horses absolutely shat themselves and bolted, they do the same on my paddocks but chase me around on the ATV all night until I start banging away.

They must have super sensitive hearing to make them so jumpy when firing our rifles as to us they are virtually silent.

I mentioned this on a thread before and everyone said the horses on their perms weren't bothered but I find horses jumpy around silenced airguns. Another thing I notice no matter how stealthily you stalk the horse will always clock you even though the rabbit is oblivious.

Where the horses are grazing at night you can guarantee there will be a few bunnies lurking right beneath them - almost like they feel safe and are using the horses as protection, a quick dry fire sees the horses away and the bunnies end up in the bag, I've found it quite a good way of finding the rabbits actually.

There's no better way than getting out in the field and learning this stuff for yourself, you taught me a lot too for which I am very appreciative!

Yes although the horses today were a pain in the arris you could see the rabbits felt relaxed with them there.

Mind you I can see why, "that thick t**t has got no chance shooting me while my mate ed is stood there blocking his shot".
