All my air rifles are FAC ( if that means over 12fpe). I have these in .22 cal. A Shin Sung Career II 707 , FX Cyclone, Airforce Talon SS, Airforce Talon with 24” shrouded barrel from MAC1, Benjamin 392PA Steroid from MAC1. What's up?

40 regulated shots at 28ft/lbs from one squirt of 100cc 232 bar air. Cost to date, after many thousands of shots, £350. Just got back from servicing and dropping velocity a little as it had crept over 900fps with JSB.:)

    Hi niloc,
i'm a newbie to this, it's my 1st time. Wondered if you could tell me how dificult it is to get a F.A.C. for an airgun if at all, compared to a rimfire. I presently have a QB78

Usually an application for an FAC air rifle gets looked upon more favourably than a rimfire for sporting purposes. You must have land you are authorized to shoot over and it should be approved for firearm use. A lot does depend which Force you come under and if you are lucky enough to have a shooter as your Firearms Liason Officer. Best bet is to go along to your local nick and ask some questions there. Nowadays membership of a club is an essential so have a lookout for one in your area. Your local gunshop may give advice on that and also on suitable FAC airguns, especially if he thinks you are a potential customer.:)
