    I also use a nitecore d4 have been using it everyday for years now and not let me down and great price, the D4 version has digital screen to give more info on battery status.

    Be warned there are some cloned fake versions though

    18650 batteries.....go to your local Vape shop and ask for some Samsung 25R's.
    These batteries are common place in vaping and some of the rigs and mods used pull some massive amperage so the batteries have to be up to the task.
