Advice Weihrauch hw97k paint??? help.

    Iv just bought a Weihrauch hw97k 22 air rifle and the stock has a few scratches on can I fix this and paint it? If so how and how can I make it more powerful?

    not sure about the painting of the stock, unless its already a painted coulour, you could sand any scratches out then varnish the stock again, and as for power, you need too take it some where that can tune it for you using a v-mach tuning kit, iam sure theyll be somewhere in newcastle that can do it for you, or you can buy the kit from Blackpool Air Rifles website and try your self but i wouldnt recomend it unless you can strip rifles.

    Tuning a rifle makes it no more powerful at all. That is not what tuning is about. It is about reducing the recoil thus increasing accuracy.

    What power is the gun running at now? If you don't know then you should find out asap and should not be thinking of increasing it

    Bagnall and Kirkwood in newcastle now fit v-mach tuning kits in shop, I think.

    Buy a chronograph. This will tell you the power.

    Its not painted but was wanting to paint it a camo col once I have sanded down the scratches
