1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

I've got my hands on a few tubs of .22 Webley Venom Xtreme pellets. They come in plastic screw tubs of 250. I've tried a few and they seem pretty good. There isn't much info about on them so no real idea what peoples thoughts are on them.

I don't need them all so looking to swap some for any of the following which are a few of my favourites.

    .22 Eley Wasp , 5.5mm or 5.6mm.
Any other Webley Venom .22 or .177 pellets.

If anyones interested let me know please.
I'm interested in finding out a bit more about them so will start a thread for info on the main thread. Cheers

My best guess would be that these are JSB made, since a lot of JSB products made their way into the UK market in the early 2000s under other brand names of which I know Webley to have been one. The head size being stated would support this, although the weight would be wrong (for Exacts) and the geometry looks a shade suspect.

Fancy banging 10 on the scales to see if they come out at a tell-tale 15.9gn?

    Anyway, approved - GLWS ;)

Cheers cloverleaf. From the odd bits I've picked up they weighed in just under, about 14.7 I've no scales and could do to get hold of some at some point really.

More than happy sending a handful to someone to weigh and test out.

I put some on my old Lyman balance scales today, average weight of 10 was 14.85-14.88. None over that singly.
Would be appear to be very unusual for the current JSBs as the few batches of .22 Exact Jumbos I've weighed samples from were 15.7 to 16.1 in the same tin
Really consistent head size too, as was velocity, the gun I tested with can be fussy, instantly +/-10fps on 5.51s or 5.53 and the groups open up.

I've just banged about 80 or so through a Mk4 Airsporter I've just fettled the innards of at 20m grouping is half an inch.
Its fussy on pellets if their not 5.6mm ,usually grouping closer to an inch so pretty pleased it likes em seeing as I've loads. Might use these rather than Eley Wasps in the BSA :)

    Thanks again
