90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

Would anyone have an idea of value please on what I can only describe as an anomaly?. Its a .22 Webley Vulcan carbine (Mk 2 I think) It has a very nicely grained walnut stock with chequering on the pistol grip and fore end. (not seen this before?). The barrel has an unusual full length barrel shroud/silencer . This is obviously an after market addition. The bluing is not bad, but has suffered some rust marks over the years, this has left some marking (uniform) to the bluing, but no pitting. Any advice appreciated. Oh, it fires spot on, no twangs and full power. :)

I wouldn't be surprised if this wasn't a tuned venom or something as it's not a Vulcan stock shape at all. As it's not standard i give you 50 p for it.

In real terms gotta be 250-300 if it's v clean. 200 if not mint.

looking at the pick closer, The chequering is amateur grade. I'm not convinced its walnut albeit either v good beech or bad walnut grade. so id need to see it in the flesh for a better guide.

The stock looks like a Hatsan 55/60 or Webley Stingray MK2 stock.

The white liner on the butt pad and sloped forend are pretty unique,as well as the bland walnut.

And you need a pair of glasses if you cannot see the graining!, also neither the Hatsan 55 or 60 stock is ANYTHING like a Webley Vulcan stock, jeeez (expert for valuation?)

looks like a delux to me. i seem to remember these about at the same time as i started shooting airguns. it was many moons ago when i was about 12-13yo i received a std vulcan was a present, eventually topped it with a 3-9x40 wa scope and a cheap moderator. fired thousands of pellets through it without any problems or a service. great gun keep it and enjoy it.

Very nice, I have a couple of walnut stocked rifles with a very Simular if not identical fore stock chequering.
i cannot confirm for yours but mine are KT tuned models by cindys shooting shop that was once in Derbyshire .
i know that venom did do tuning for them but a lot was KT tuned being ken turner known as vixen models

a little more research may be needid .

    very nice looking too.

I have a deluxe model walnut chequering mk 2 , woodwork is nice but only factory nice.
I think they did a deluxe with gold plated safety and trigger too.
Not a webley lover but my old deluxe was venom tuned which I guess is basic debure ,better spring and shoots ok really .
seal had perished but the new webley type seal was better than the old type .

Looks like the MKII Deluxe version the MKIII is very similar, the MkII Deluxe should have a Walnut oiled stock with hand cut checkering & i think it came with sling swivels fitted.
The MK I Deluxe was only in .177 as far as i know.
Any way its a good rifle the image is not clear enough to be too precise,i would have thought £175-£200 range would have been more if rust free.

Interesting read in Thrale's book which shows a photo of Serial No. 761352 as Series 2 Deluxe alongside a Special with higher grade of walnut.
    At a guess late 1980.

Certainly a Vulcan Deluxe stock. I love the carbined barrel, that looks awesome!

....Think I'll be taking a hacksaw to the barrel of my Mk1! ;)
