1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

This might be of interest to forum members....

I like Paul’s YouTube shooting channel; I’ve been watching him for ages and think it’s one of the best for no nonsense and quality information, (with very occasional bits of straight faced humour chucked in).

    Interesting

On a subconscious level I’ve been playing with target size and bull colours thinking it would make a difference.

I like his approach, the "two sides to a story" sort of thing. I'll look out for him. Thanks for sharing.

I've taken to printing my own targets on 200gsm stock card. I started with a solid black bull but now use a clear bull with a heavy outer line, then a 5p size ring, then a 2p size ring...then a couple of other rings equally spaced. I can get 6 to a 17x17cm card and a further 3 on the bottom of the A4 which makes a "half target" on the 17x17 holders at the range. I also have a couple of other styles which see 9 to a card.

Used them the last few times at the range and the clear bull with heavy line is better than the solid bull. I also use the shoot n see black bulls for a bit of variation, eithernover the targets or in blank card.

    Thanks
    Tim B
