1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

Hi, I've Seen it done on clays,in the flesh.
    More luck than judgement.
Kind of irresponsible to try it on a living thing.
    Cheers.

I don't think it's a good idea to shoot into the sky, as you don't really know where the pellet or bullet would come down again.

I've seen it done in a big storage shed on a feral pigeon with an old norica springer. It was a complete fluke tho, the guy was pointing the gun upwards and accidently pulled the trigger and the pigeon just happend to be flying over at the time! It wasn't a clean kill tho and the bird had to be caught and dispatched as humanely and quickly as possible. Needless to say that was the last time the guy got to hold the gun that day...:D

I'm ashamed to admit that I did this once, on a feral pigeon, when I was younger and even more stupid than I am now. In those days, I blazed away and hoped to get lucky. Nowadays, I take every possible precaution, and then hope I'm not unlucky.
