1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

  5. Postings on Politics, Religion & Controversial Off-Topic Material

The majority of users do not want to read about these subjects and people have left the forum as a result of it – this is after all an 'Airgun' Forum. It’s all very well to say they don’t have to read it if they don't want to, but as most of us use the ‘New Posts’ button there is no easy way to avoid it.

All AGF staff members are in favour of people being able to discuss what they want, but we have to draw the line somewhere if it is upsetting other users. We don’t want to read about these topics either.

IMPORTANT- The discussion of politics and religion is no longer allowed anywhere on the forum (including the Adult section).  The only exception is if it's airgun related - they must be put in the Airgun Related Politics section..

We will not tolerate bullying or personal attacks, racism or any other offensive 'isms'. we will remove these topics from the forum, we will not give you an area where you can abuse each other. We will not hesitate to ban offenders.

I have recently purchased a kalibrgun Cricket from Solware and was luckily one of the first people to get my grubby hands on it. Right off the bat dealing with solware was a pleasure and they got the rifle out to me the second they received the rifle. I had good communication from them and from Phil who tunes the rifles to make them uk legal..
On receiving the rifle I was extremely happy and was actually surprised at how small the whole package was. Albeit it's small size the rifle shoulders perfectly and slots perfectly into a nice cheek weld.
on taking it to the range it is extremely accurate and I think the only thing that would effect its accuracy would be skill level of the shooter using it, I have tested the cricket out to 40yards and there is no real change in accuracy still delivering sub 1/2 inch groups.
i don't think any uk review can be completed without mentioning the work completed by the rat works and Phil crampton. He has given the gun a very nice touch delivering a very solid rifle you can feel confident will deliver when called upon, his after market care is excellent and is always available to answer questions and support if needed.
if I had to pick holes I'd say it would have been nice to have seen the cheek piece inclusive in the price as I think it's essential to the overall quality feel of the rifle.
really happy with the purchase and looking forward to getting out in the sun with it..

Can I ask why you needed aftermarket care on a new gun ? Was there a problem or was it just a new to the gun thing ?

All crickets go through phil/ratworks before they can be sold I believe.

Nothing in particular just odd questions really, he always gets straight back to you as soon as he can. Just good service.
all crickets imported by kalibrgun uk go through the rat works to make them uk spec.

Delrin inserts to choke it up and an offer to fit a Tench reg when the reg in the gun is perfectly fine ???
A money making scheme me thinks. Why would a brand new regged gun need a different reg putting in it ?

Everywhere I see these guns mentioned there seems to be an aura of controversy surrounding them.

From what I can tell the guns enter the UK as FAC and need to be re-worked to bring them sub 12, Phil is an authorised RFD to complete this work.

Personally I like them and yes I would buy one if all this clap trap and back biting around them stops, it must be harming the company reputation no end.... a shame when the current market is getting stale and we need new innovation.

Gilles vouched for a gun from Cheshire gun rooms completely different tuner as worked on the gun they are now sole trader in the uk for kalibrgun with out one complaint scince taking over sales and TUNNING. Not choking it with bits of plastic. Phil fecked up a very lucrative trade with kalibrgun and lost out on a hell of a lot of sales over 200 ish lads have these now on the bullpup mad page hell of a lot of cash lost at a grand each

The thread is quite old and out of date, as Dave says the guns are now imported by Cheshire Gun Rooms.
Like a lot of rifles these are designed to run at high power levels and have to be set for UK power before being sold. Most parts of the world don't have these restrictions :(

Tbh I love the kalibrgun but very Leaning towards the wildcat crickets are awesome guns but as terry as said really excell at fac power the porting is that extreeme the reg has to be set at 55 bar in .22 for uk power limits unless u have the means to alter transfer ports hats off to Cheshire gun rooms tho they've turned round a very negative view of the kalibrgun brand amongst uk shooters / owners . Imports are a lot or were alt cheaper but you have to do some serious balancing of the guns internals for it to be uk legal . Cheshire gun rooms havnt hiked up the price a lot tho for the work they carry out and are going very strong with the kalibrgun brand and yes Gilles should delete previous videos as they are misleading hth Dave G

Ive had a Kalibrgun Cricket Std .22 from Cheshire Gunroom for 6 months and I'm amazed by it, its so easy to mod yourself and to be honest I'm not sure if id do a free swap for the new Daystar Pulsar, although the Pulsar does look super cool.

Everyone who has held my Cricket just loves the way it shoulders.

I don't have a wrong word to say about Cheshire Gunroom.

Just bought one of these from Cheshire Gun Room, as the above poster said, I cannot fault their service one bit, superb company.

As for the rifle, mine is .22, I also bought the extra magazines to go with, utterly superb rifle, expensive yes, but worth every penny.
