90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

  5. Postings on Politics, Religion & Controversial Off-Topic Material

The majority of users do not want to read about these subjects and people have left the forum as a result of it – this is after all an 'Airgun' Forum. It’s all very well to say they don’t have to read it if they don't want to, but as most of us use the ‘New Posts’ button there is no easy way to avoid it.

All AGF staff members are in favour of people being able to discuss what they want, but we have to draw the line somewhere if it is upsetting other users. We don’t want to read about these topics either.

IMPORTANT- The discussion of politics and religion is no longer allowed anywhere on the forum (including the Adult section).  The only exception is if it's airgun related - they must be put in the Airgun Related Politics section..

We will not tolerate bullying or personal attacks, racism or any other offensive 'isms'. we will remove these topics from the forum, we will not give you an area where you can abuse each other. We will not hesitate to ban offenders.

Looking for recommendations for a pistol, I really want one that's a good replica metal, blow back and ideally a full mag.

My problem seems to be is they are all BB and I would prefer pellet. The closest I have seen to what I'm after is the sig m17 but the colour is awful and the blow back looks quite poor.

if I do have to settle for a steel BB pistol can they at least rip a can ?

My favourite hand guns are walthers but the pellet versions have 0 blow back and those silly rotary mags.

    @ Rob,

If you want a decent rep, you're pretty much stuck with bb. You'll always have feed issues with pellets due to the shape - hence why pellet firers use a rotary / belt mag.
A bb one will shred a can nicely, and often there is little difference in power / accuracy between the two.
Most bb semi's are oem'd by KWC, no matter what it says on the box. There is a CZ75 though, which is KJW.

I'd go for something like one of the PT92 copies - owned one and they are pretty good. They are basically airsoft guns with a different inner barrel and mag feed lips.

    Have a look here....

    Funny story.....
I am a revolver type of guy and whilst doing a deal for a Dan Wesson 715 the other party chucked in a Remington RAC as part of the deal (as a sweetener I suppose, lol), well I was just like,"What the bloody hell do I want that for ?" but against my better judgement I took the deal (I was really too keen on getting the Dan Wesson, lol) and I thought,"What the hell, I'll just sell it on". Got both guns home, over the next couple of days I played with the DW till my trigger finger nearly fell off and never went near the Remmy (damn those cheap and nasty bb guns !! I thought). Well time passed and I thought, good God ! I should check that the Remmy works before I even think about selling it to some poor sucker, so loaded it up with CO2 and bb ammo (luckily the guy had given me a tub of them in with the deal) and thought "Oh well, here we go, just test it to make sure it's working, I bet it doesn't even shoot that accurately, lol"........
Did I sell it ? Did I **** ! That little baby is a helluva lot of fun, eats CO2 like it's going out of fashion, is reasonably accurate enough at 7m to punch holes in tin cans, gotta blow back thump that just puts a grin on my face every time I use it, using it with paper targets in a pellet catcher seems to stop the worry of ricochets (as long as you can hit the target that is), overall... a lot of fun ! would I have bought it ? NO, would I part with it ? HELL NO !!
The moral of this story, don't knock it till you try it, lol.

I have the p226 and I can highly recommend it, blowback shocks everyone that fires it!
Also available in black if you don't like the colour:thumb: IMG_20190310_162049.jpg

Trouble with the Sigs is the closed ejection port - takes away from the realism a lot is that's what Rob is after.

I'd put another vote for the p226 its really fun and realistic even down to the weight of a loaded 9mm. Easy to use and fill / degas and iv had mine 3-4 years now and never had problem with it.

Tell that to joe public if he saw you waiving it about in a bank. :D

I think it's the best pellet firer going at the moment. I don't own any BB firers anymore due to sh*te loading methods and BB's bouncing back at me.

Im not a BB fan either. There are the 4 ive owned over recent years...

Glock 17 dual ammo. Surprisingly accurate but not the most powerful, though these replica blow backs aren't target tools, but really looks and feels the part, no stupid "this is not a toy " bollards printed on the side. The Gen 4 has a touch more punch when shooting, but is BB only. My favourite one to hold and handle.

Beretta PX7 Storm really looks great, but isn't quite a perfect replica, as the Umarex safety on one side is like a wart on the Mona Lisa. Best mall round IMHO.

SIG P226 shoots well, but the "this is not a toy" stuff stamped on one side spoils it a little, and the lack of ejector port cut out ruins the looks for me. The FDE version looks sweet, but the warning notices are more obvious in this colour. Great fun to shoot, very forceful blowback. Best to shoot.

SIG P320 looks great, but I'm hearing they can be a little troublesome and are a PITA to remove stuck pellets if you run low on gas as bit strippable, and the rear if the breach is concealed from tinkering fingers.

Yes same here, I just begrudgingly sold my Umarex Mauser broomhandle that I loved as I couldn't stand b.bs coming flying back at me. Unfortunately no pellet versions around like many other replicas I love.
I'm sure we can both highly recommend the Umarex Colt SAA though:thumb: IMG_20190331_213826_302.jpg IMG_20190420_192819_065.jpg

I quite like the Gamo PT85. A really nice, heavy pellet firer with quite strong blowback action.

No, but you'd assume when you make a post for advice you'd keep an eye on it?
