90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

I bought a r10 second hand and it came with a tin of air arms diabolo field. I was running low so went to the gun shop and the guy recommended for hunting rabbits rws super h point. Me being a newb took his word for it and got 2 tins of 500.
When i was trying to zero in the garden with them they were going all over the place and jammed the mag twice which never happened before. I guess the r10 doesn't like them.

Can you recommend a pellet that the r10 .177 likes and will be suitable for hunting rabbits, pigeons etc.

We helped someone out today with an R-10 (carbine) as he was struggling to zero (webby on here). He was and had been using some H&N for a while without success. I tried them and I thought there's no way the pellets can be that bad; it must be a duff R-10. We then tried JSB 4.52 and got one hole groups at 30 yards. With accuracy like this I can't imagine that any rabbit/pigeon will care what pellet you drop him with.

Always had excellent results with aa in 4.52. If you want to go heavy Crossman premier ultra mags or bis mags go very well in mine. If you switch to a single shot tray and prefer light but fast Falcons are good too.
    Hope this helps with choices.
    Regards,Stu.

Bisley Magnums are very good - my R10 likes them wide (4.52) and heavy.
Recently had a massive Crow, (really big fella), at 47 yards - straight in the brain box!

I have also used H&N Baracuda hunter extreme hollow point @ 9.57gr - wonderful knockdown power, again out to longer ranges, but have had some very annoying jams in the magazine at crucial moments.
Will still use them but will limit to certain situations.

Had a bit of a test today, JSB exact in 4.51 , 4.52 and 4.53 , I had been happy with the 4.52
But the 45.1s are definitely better View attachment 104737

I am sure my r10 works better with the smaller aa field 4.51 and also likes bismags of smaller head size . I have some 4.50 jsb(aa field)I must try soon ?

"Short" pellets can tilt in the mag and cause a mashed skirt. If gun accurate with a short pellet (ie JSB Express),problem can be overcome by loading from front of mag, skirt first

I tried some rws hollows through 2 of my rifles, it's fair to say they will not be used for hunting.

There's not a lot of difference in group size with all the JSB's and AA Fields in the different head sizes at 32-35yrds all one clover leaf hole but when the target is moved out to 55yrds then the real preference of the barrel starts to show JSB 4.51 gave a easy sub 5p group the other sizes and brands not quite as good but would do ok as a second choice.

I will have to get some of those JSB heavies to try out see how they gone in mine, they could be better in those winter winds.
