I took farmer Giles his Christmas beers and it was rude not to take my toys.
After a rather long chat with the farmer and showing him my new toy (he loved it) I had a wander around with my 100. Nothing to be had but it was a beautiful afternoon, and a quick zero check made me smile bang on I’ll blame the farmer in the next field playing on his tractor for scaring everything off Once something noisy starts driving around it normally means target time or home o’clock.
    So out comes the Fx
Easily zeroed at 30meters with less than one mag. (Slight breeze)
So I put 21shots (a mag) aiming at the same hole. I wasn’t anal and I didn’t take my time, if you know what I mean.
So I’ll let the photos do the talking
(Sorry no blood to see but that was the intention and as I talked about wanting to shoot something I thought I’d put it in hunting so not to offend)
    IMG_7187.jpg IMG_7188.jpg IMG_7189.jpg IMG_7190.jpg
That’s 22 shots 1 random and one full mag
I can’t wait to get it ChairGun’d and have a proper play
And it seems to like the AADF 4.52’s

Fitted this today but obviously it was rude not to take to the Impact
    25mph + winds
I had 42shots at different twigs etc
Made me smile with a mil dot to the right I was hitting what I wanted at 31meters (not every shot) IMG_8901.jpg
I managed to blast this branch growing off a rotten tree stump
    Anyway.... I’m still Fx happy

How high is your feeder is it going to be difficult to refill and check its being used on a regular basis.

I know what your saying 42 shots and I don’t need to think about topping it up for quite a few more tips out

I do like my 100 in .22 for bunny bashing off the bipod and it’s easy to use in the dark for ratting

This Impact does make me smile every time I open the box

Hopefully next week it will have it’s first tree rat

All the best with it. Tree rats are my number one favourite just wish I had a perm for them

I’ve bought a 0.22 barrel and probe for mine just waiting for the mag to arrive then it’ll be zeroed at the range and bunny bashing next week. I’m just blown away with it’s accuracy, I was easily shooting a 20mm group at 50 yards at the range last night with Exacts in 4.52. Can’t wait to try the 0.22

    Keep asking

Let us know how you get on with
    the .22 barrel
Have you tried the JSB Heavy in 4.52’s?
I’m yet to stretch mine out properly I haven’t had the weather And we only have a stoopidly short range in my town

Yes I tried the heavy 4.52 last night and they didn’t group at all well. Switched back to the 8.44grn and they were spot on. I was hoping for a heavier pellet to do well as I’m not a fan of exacts for hunting they seem a little light for my liking

You need to try the heavies in 4.51, they worked well for all of us, the proof in the pudding is also at 50 yards, then you should see they are better!
