1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

Spoke to a farmer that owns alot of land along the river Avon last night that has some woods and some fishing lakes about some shooting. He said it's ok but he was having his tea so I've arranged to go back with a map so he can mark the boundries for me. What is good about it is that there are alot of tracks that can be driven along and last night there were plenty of rabbits, woodies, magpies, crows, partridges and pheasants. It means that when it is hammering down with rain I can still go out without the fear of ruining my new s410 and stay in the warm of my van.

I just knocked on the door after finding out the farmers name and offered my services. It helped that when my dad was in business 25 years ago this guy was one of his customers and i did help my dad at weekends and holidays so i started by saying "you might not remember me but...." I tried one of the neibouring farms last week but got knocked back but you just have to keep trying.

    Sorry.....couldn't resist it!!!! LOL!!!

Good luck with your new permission, just watch your seasons on the game birds. Don't lose it through temptation to take a pheasant.

walked some of it tonight. 2 rabbits, 1 pigeon and a magpie later. The permission is amazing, he even has a problem with mink and does the game keeping his self. I am allowed in the wood where the pens are but only when there are no birds in there.

P.S white rabbits are NOT to be shot
