1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

    no it's a DIY job

idea came from Ian on BPA British Pistol Assoc

the 30x20x6 case is from eBay..as is the green baize
Ian bought 10mm closed cell foam..i used an old camping mat

1 layer of foam in the lid
2 layers in the base then 2 more with cut-outs for the pistol and the tin
the felt is cut 15mm over-size then pushed down the sides with a blunt thingy with the tin and pistol in place

5 layers means the lid has to be pushed to close - this squeezes the felt down into the cut-outs over 3-4 days

i didn't spray glue the last 2 layers [ones with cutouts] nor the felt

    so that....

over 3-4 days under pressure, the felt can 'creep' into the cutouts from the pressure of the pistol and tin

my tin has already sunk by 5mm
