It’s a sub 12 made by John Bowkett reason for no holder or very little is I shoot lead free .25 pellets through it only 16.54gr so not a lot of holdover needed I can zero @ 30yds and have little difference

Difference should be about 5 inches? Looks like you gave an inch of holdover. Pellet also seemed to impact very quickly for a 47 yard shot....

Every rifle shoots different it’s had a lot of work done by John Bowkett so yes id expect it to shoot like no one has seen before as it’s a 1 off

And as for the 5” a lot depends on amount of holdover scope height angle etc etc so I gave it what I gave it knowing how my rifle shoot a lot of time and work has gone into getting to grips with my rifle and it hit the mark simple as that

Thanks for the link. I asked as I had been trying out some .22 pellets which I had found too heavy for me at 20gn and over. I was surprised to see .25's were available at such a light weight.
It raises the question in my mind as to the advantages if any of a light .25 pellet over a similar weight or heavier .22?

These aren’t available in uk yet 2019 I heard , as for advantages there is the obvious extra whack u get I alsthink have a .22 and prefer that with rabbits at longer distances however a .25 on a good hectic rat perm is a lot of fun

    A 16g pellet drops 4 to 5in on 22 or 25cal at 12ft. Same speed, round 570fos.
    900fps 22 on fac drops 1.5in on a 30yd zero.

Nice shooting, ;) just showing the real stat,s for the lads, al

Ps I play out to 150yds on 900fps fac, in 22, as you tube shows.
Aswell a bunny on breed mode hit at 102yds with the Ripley on 1000fps. ;) Al
