1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

Hi all as you clever peeps can gather from the title I have just put a deposit on a HW100KT in .20 with a mamba lite on top
Its all thanks to The Robin (Si) nice one mate by the way. He knew I was on the look out for a new gun and I told him I'd love a HW100 in .20
Low and behold he text me 20 mins later and told me there was one on BAR website.
I duly sent an email to them stating my desire to own said item, also making a call to them too. I was told the gun was a .177 and my dream was shattered !!!
Only to receive an email this morn asking for a call to BAR if I was still interested in the .20 HW100 ??
Well my head was spinning as I made the call just hoping there had been a mistake with the call and that there was actually the gun of my dreams in stock and with a great scope on top
Well the answer was a resounding YES !!!!! I am a very happy bunny and can't wait until I get over and pick it up
Thanks again Si. You're a star pal. At least you'll get to shoot it at the range lol

Pleased for you mate, i was tempted to buy one myself but, i've already got too many guns now, and some aren't getting used.

An HW100 in .20 might just be all the gun you'll ever need? ;)

I'm real pleased for Bry, he's a top guy and somebody who I call a friend. After a bit of hassle with phone calls etc it's all worked out spot on and for one looking forward to have a few shots through it at the range (I'm a .20 fan boy with two theobens in said cal).

The rifle is the complete package, a hw100 with the best mag loading system out there (in my opinion), is a looker too and in .20

This will be very interesting to hear about. Its an excellent choice of rifle, and I have never read a thread on anybody having bought one as yet in this cal. Assuming you have owned .177 and .22 prior to this purchase, then it will make interesting reading, to know how the pellet travels. KB1

Sorry hit send too early...i had one on order as soon as they were released. Unfortunatly when i went to pick it up 8 weeks lateru, my rfd added £200 on top of our agreed price (hence never going back!)

I know own a beauty in.177 and it is awesome. I still think a .20 hw100 would be the ultimate hunting rifle.

I personaly think a rowan trigger, a&m cylinder and adjustable but pad makes the hw100 complete.

The ones with the newer style stock with the raised cheek piece aren't nearly as heavy as the earlier slab sided ones.
Try one mate if you haven't and see what you think. They're the best cocking / loading system on the market IMO :)

Yes Jonny I rang to see how much a new one in .20 I. The KT would be and they're £845 with a 12-14 week waiting list
They had a new full length one in but I'm not a fan of long rifles
Luckily for me Simon spotted one on their website and after a few calls and emails and a bit of duff info I got to the bottom of it and can't wait to pick it up.
Got a good scope on top too I. The shape of a mamba lite. May change at some point in the future to a connect but time will tell

I also use a mamba lite on mine mate. I use them on everything except my ratting rifles. If its sub 60 yards its a gonner.
