1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

Have bought a rather lovely 1983 HW80 in .22, trying to turn it into a bit of a "John Darling" lookalikey so wanted a Venom push on silencer. Thought this would be all but impossable to find so asked around on other forums for anything that would look the same. Blow me if i didnt get a PM from some-one who had a early 1980`s Venom push on silencer for HW that has just been reblued by Colin Malloy at MAG ( my HW80 has just been reblued by him ). £55 posted i nearly took his arm off.
To say im chuffed is an understatement. Have also ordered a Walnut Sporter stock from CS as close to the old venom sporter as i could find.
Took my barrel in to Helston Gunsmiths today to be shortened to 15 inches as recommended by Steve Pope and recrowned. Should be done by Weds, silencer should be here by Sat. Dunno how long CS take to make the stock but from reading there feedback on fleabay about 14 days if im lucky.

Now anybody got a Optima super moonlighter for sale ...

Shown next to JD`s from his book. Dont know if im going to etch my fingerprints in with battery acid or not :p

Well, a bit of him lives in my dog since she got into the bathroom and ate the cover of the book :(

What? Nobody else has Air Rifle Hunting as one of their sit-down reads?
