1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

Big issue is that All Countries have different power levels

Aware that many Air Guns are withheld by British Customs

Who are on look out for Fire Arms - All Imports are X-rayed on Arrival into UK

Herd Cases of Guns being delivered - accompanied by Local Fire Arms Teams and All other Gun Sized on Visit

And other cases where they get through

No Manufacture gives a World Warrenty - Yes might be cheaper but most cases you will get Stung for UK Taxes on Arrival

Pays to try and get it from a UK Dealer - At least you will get Warrenty and not a visit from Local Fire Arms Team -

Who get's Granted a Full Search Warrent on Reported suspect Import's

The laws just been changed that the penalty for a over 12 ftlb gun 6ftlb pistol is ten years to life after the kalibrgun sager really not worth the risk a lot of guns come in over and need adjusting if customs find it which they do check them ive a few custom declarations here seems very risky unless buying off a trusted seller which will alter power to 6ftlb ish so no chance of going over

Majority of USA Dealers will not Ship to UK - due to power issues

As UK Customs charge for return Carriage or state they will Destroy as a illegal Air Gun

Especially as many Manufactures state power on Boxes

Some get through from Europe - But there is No Warrenty on them - No Manufacture Offers World Wide Warrenty

Its harder importing from outside the EU, but there are companies who will do it. I use Sportwaffen as mentioned above. Huge savings to be had, especially on Weirhauch, and they deliver to your door. Also, as Germany have a 6fpe limit on rifles and pistols, all guns are "F" stamped, so in the unlikely event that customs question it, there's a universally recognised symbol of conformity.

If he gets it from a European country he will have paid the local taxes & VAT. If he gets it from outside the EU then fair enough but I would think the potential problems with HMRC would preclude doing this. As well as tax & duty they seem to be very uninformed about air guns & behave like they've come across a crate of Uzi's from Israel until proven otherwise...

Hope I´m not hijacking this thread, but my question fits in here. Btw, the mentioned Sportwaffen Schneider is an awesome firm, I ordered very often in Germany from them. No idea thou about importing stuff to the uk.

I always render my guns non-functional when I leave them in poland, meaning taking a vital part out. You think I could get my 2 highly modified but not functional crosman CO2 rifles send to me here to the UK from Poland without breaking the law and risking of loosing them? Thanks for any input.
