1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

morning all, ive had a wowcher for an iphone to tv wiring kit, only £8, i have a 5s so would need he adapter fo tha aswell. are there any apps that would allow me to use my e700 on the iphone does any one know? so it would work in reverse so to speak, instead of taking from the iphone onto a tv, using it from the camera to iphone?

i think it would be cracking as ive had 3 monitors now and they are all flimsy and not what claimed in regards to resolution. i have a waterproof metal case which i could modify to give a good solid mounted housing that could resist knock much better.

or can you buy the nitesite monitors? ive spent a few quid on Censored, as you cant see the quality on ebay.

thanks chaps, and if any one does manage to do it, hafas on the patent;)

Phones don't have a simple method for video input although I think that some have been hacked to enable it. If you can find an app that will give you video in using wireless you may be abke to do it although it might be a nuisance if you get a phone call just as you're lining up on the shot of a lifetime. Might be worth having a google or youtube search.

I know very little about Apple kit, I think it's overpriced and mainly style over substance.
Most of the cameras, including the e700, output composite video which is basically analogue but you can connect them to wireless transmitters and pick up the signal with a matching receiver which will probably have a similar output to the camera. You can buy cameras which are designed to work with digital systems and you can get these in (claimed) HD resolution although this would reduce low light sensitivity.
The problem is that the phones don't have any system for a video input signal of any type although, as I said, they can be hacked but it won't be easy and will invalidate your warranty. It's possible that an ipod may have video in but I don't know. There are some decent monitors available or you can buy a bare screen and video driver circuit if you wanted to build it into a box, you could probably manage this if you can solder and understand a little about electronics.
If you want to search for apps make sure you specify video IN.

im thinking its dead in the water terry to be honest, i just seen the 5s advert with add ons and thought it would make a cracking monitor for low cost, i bought the wires for £6 off ebay just before, but need a video in app.

ive had a few monitors off ebay that claim hi res and aren't, and really flimsy cheap chat, ive emailed apple to find out if its possible as i dont want it jailbroken or out like that.

    cheers for the help terry:up:
