No you are not eagleman but i must confess i do not think there are many of us.
    What do you hunt?
I tend to hunt for either my Table or my BOP table.
Never Kill for the sake of Killing but that's just my way.

I know a guy who constantly Kills Rats, i have told him to switch to Ferel Pigeon as in the Desease stakes Pigeon (ferel) make Rats look Shiny clean.

They really are full of Desease . If you have a backyard with kids shoot them as even their mutes are full of it.
I could name you a long long list of what they carry.Disgusting Animals!:violent3: :violent3:

I added to the 'Mainly hunt with a little target' one, my main reason being that 95% of the time that I am out with my gun, I am clearing up peskey magpies but I might do a tiny little bit of target before this just as a kind of 'check' to see that i will be able to hit a maggie :)

    Hunt or target

I only do targets in my back garden, I really need to join a club, and there are quite a few near were I live, but I never get the time, always something else to do, And I would love to go hunting again, I used to hunt a lot with a shotgun ( ducks, geese and rabbits ) before I got married, but that's years ago, I just find shooting paper targets very relaxing,

To answer your question Fog out of choice I'm a rabbit man but on one of my shoots I am there as a vermin shooter (no other reason) and I go for what I'm told to. If an opportunistic woodpigeon comes along (one made the mistake the other day!) I'll go for it albeit it is still vermin. But it is crows, maggies, squirrels, mink (if I ever see them) and rooks which are my main quarry. I eat rabbits and woodpigeon (or collared dove) but don't eat anything else I shoot.

Voted for the 'target but the odd shot at a pigeon' option, but I shoot rats instead.

Maybe I'll get into hunting more soon, but with no free time I don't see how I can.

Meh you don't impress me, can you hit a 1mm hole from 100 yards?

I'm just joking, don't worry. You're getting pretty accurate with a springer, well done.

I never go out with the sole purpose of target shooting.

I always carry a paper target to zero before i go hunting.

I do spend quite a bit of time plinking, which I think benefits my hunting capability more than target shooting.

a good way for hunters to practice is get a tennis ball and lob it.

guess the range and shhot it.

try painting 4 red blobs and aim for those

Put a card of A4 at what ever range u like, aim at the centre, then aim at the pellet hole of the first shot. can also be used for scoping in;)
