90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

    Hi.

Im wondering how a pcp rifle works.

where does the high pressure air came behind the bullet when the charging pin is directly behind the bullet and seal for the barrel?
Is the system locked from outside the barrel and in to there the airpressure came out from?

I will be glad for tips or a picture of how this good rifles realy works inside when its in use :)
It will be more easy to learn to repair/tune when i know more about the thing inside the rifle

By charging pin I assume you mean loading probe (the bit that pushes the pellet in). This is often hollow and a hole will align up with the flow of air from the reservoir. If not hollow it'll be thin enough for air to flow around it. Essentially on most precharged the air comes from below the probe and then either around or through it to the back of the pellet

It's also a pump up not a pcp but the principle is the same.

the high pressure air is contained in the air tube, the normal arrangement is the exhaust or firing valve is in the rear of the tube, the hammer strikes the valve which releases a pulse of air, this air passes though the transfer port, the air is stopped from exiting the breech to the rear by the bolt, so as the air expands it pushes against the rear of the pellet which is then propelled down the barrel, stealth rifles us a direct system that has no transfer port

What I have understood that either as there is high pressure through the charging pin or around the charging pin? Can not seem to see quite where it can shoot from the air.

Okay, now i know i a little bit about how things work :)

Thanks for the good advice I got

in simple terms (and I have probably missed something out here)

You have an high pressure air reservoir, air goes in via the inlet port, you cock the gun which in effect cocks a spring loaded hammer, when you pull the trigger the hammer hits a valve which has a seal on it, this valve moves and lets the equivalent of 12fpe of air out via the outlet port, it goes up through a port in the barrel and pushes the pellet out - or something like that

    thank you guys :)

I have a hw100, maby im to bad in english to understand but when i load it then its a hole under the barrel and its there the air coming in behind the pellet? like on the action on the pichture here, or is it against the loading bolt/pin that pushing the pellets out of the magasine and in to the barrel the air flow? I can see a microscopic houle on the pin/loading bolt but i can not beleve at the air is coming out there :)
