1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

    Thanks for the welcomes.

Unfortunate that my modem keeps on disconnecting... :( I wish 3 would sort the tower out, it is obviously over subbed.

"The breeze" at the moment, I used to use a BSA .177 when I was younger, its 38 years later and I'm introducing my son to the sport and air guns have certainly moved on somewhat as I have been out the picture for a long time and just re-discovered airguns because there was a google search that actually returned a result that actually was worth while.

I am looking at a PCP gun for my son to use and I have to be the owner because he is not legally old enough yet. So speaking to a club owner the

One of the club members has an old rifle that he is selling that his son no longer uses because he has got his son a new rifle. The rifle is a HW100 and the member has had three and is willing to sell one and have through him learnt that another club member knows airguns intimately as other firearms as he was an engineer and armour in the forces, so can fix all weapons and does it for price of materials, such is the love of the sport and had rebuilt the hammer as it was aparently stuffed.

My son got to use it today and the guy has kindly arranged for it to be at the club for my sons use to have a decent gun and get some consistent shooting done. It has been well looked after and the stock of one of them as he has more than one, is made of Turkish Walnut and worth something like £350 by itself, when I looked, you can buy a blank for £250 if you want to make your own.
