1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

I’m 40 this year and having a midlife crisis over which pcp gun I would like, I currently have a HW77 which I have been very pleased with and I shoot a self resetting target or paper targets with a backstop.

Living in the country I have been lucky enough to have permissions in the past, however the farmer sold up.

I also have a damaged elbow which makes the weight and use of HW77 for long periods uncomfortable.

I’m less than keen on Umarex offerings and keen to read and discover a suitable pcp rifle that isn’t as weighty and cumbersome as my HW77, while being indexed multi shot

Hi, welcome to the forum. :welcome:

I'd agree with Carl - an S410 would probably do you nicely. I've just sold a SuperLite Carbine version of it.

Thank you for welcome, I have looked at Walther RM8 ( until I discovered it is Umarex)

I also believe later Webley Raider 12 are Hatsan Turkish made?

I see a 2 shot Webley Raider in for sale section, which I believe may still be English made?- I’m not sure on weight?

The S410 I believe is reasonably serviceable and easily to buy spares for? I’d also be happy to look at secondhand older models and pre AT- even seal kit and chrono if something special.

With the HW77 I like rekord triggers, I did consider a HW100 but it would need a diet if it is as heavy as the HW77

The HW100 is a bit lumpy compared with some - I've actually got some added NV and ranging gear on top that makes it extra heavy, so the only way I can shoot it is rested. I have bad arthritis (amongst other things) that stops me from doing what I used to, but they can be lightened in several ways though. The trigger on mine is the best I've ever known in an air rifle.

Don't write off the possibility of the Artemis P15. Light as a feather, high shot count and simple to work on.

    Hey Dan

Have a look at the Ultra SE if 40ish shots per fill would be adequate
