1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

Even if this is just your own personal opinion, RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS.'

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

  5. Postings on Politics, Religion & Controversial Off-Topic Material

The majority of users do not want to read about these subjects and people have left the forum as a result of it – this is after all an 'Airgun' Forum. It’s all very well to say they don’t have to read it if they don't want to, but as most of us use the ‘New Posts’ button there is no easy way to avoid it.

All AGF staff members are in favour of people being able to discuss what they want, but we have to draw the line somewhere if it is upsetting other users. We don’t want to read about these topics either.

IMPORTANT- The discussion of politics and religion is no longer allowed anywhere on the forum (including the Adult section).  The only exception is if it's airgun related - they must be put in the Airgun Related Politics section..

We will not tolerate bullying or personal attacks, racism or any other offensive 'isms'. we will remove these topics from the forum, we will not give you an area where you can abuse each other. We will not hesitate to ban offenders.

Is it me or is this not a good place to live anymore? There seem to be so many problems, the Government are making all the wrong decisions and everything's getting more expensive all the time.

    What do you think?

What does "Great" Britain stand for in the 21st century?

"Great" Britian is a wonderful place to live if you're :-
    A criminal.
    A single Mum.
    An immigrant.
In the ethnic minority.(soon to be majority)
    A politician.

So if you're a Black, single mother, who's just migrated here with a criminal record and intend standing for parliment, you must think you've hit the friggin' jackpot.

If however, like me, you've lived here from birth and so have your parents, grandparents and great grandparents, have always worked and paid your taxes, it the proverbial **** hole !!

    whats great about it?????
its a total rip off country, look at the price of fuel ,diesel has been as high as £1.40p a litre, a pair of levi jeans are £70 ( less than half that if bought in the states)
the british public are as soft as sh4te, they wont stand up for themselves,
if fuel was as high in france there would be national strikes and riots.
my 11 year old son is being taught muslim prayers at school, its time we all woke up as to what is happening before its too late!

    great britain...........what a joke!

I'd be straight round that school and make it quite clear that he is not a Muslim.
Next they will have him rocking back and forth learning the Koran.

Soon he will be bringing live animals home and want them slaughtered in a halaal fashion, and while this is going on he will be shouting "Allahu Akbar" "Allahu Akbar". :D

When you think about it we're a right set of pathetic w@nkers......we've sat back a let all this happen right under our noses and done b****r all about it.
I've got nothing against any specific race, I'm certainly not a racist, I don't mind immigration on a regulated basis as long as the people arriving genuinely want to live a "British" life, not just arrive here for the "benefits" and free lifestyle. The thing that p****s me off is THEM wanting, even demanding, that WE change to suit THEIR requirements.

It's a pity that a vote for the BNP is just a wasted vote, because there is no way they would ever win. The immigrants and their thousands of offspring would never vote for them, the capitalists would never vote for them either and the majority of the so called working class don't trust them due to their past image and tend not to have any real interest in politics or politicians anyway , just grouping them as a set of lying b@st@rds who are just in it to line their own pockets...which isn't far from the truth. If I knew there was even half a chance of getting Britain back for the British people, I'd vote for them every time.

Wouldn't vote for them, I wish there was a party who had some of the same principles but could be taken seriously. I think if the BMP were in charge, we'd have far more problems than we do already.

Sorta glad  i don't feel like i'm the only one thinking the same about my own land, but not really. If your planning a move, don't consider the US as any better. Then again you'd be a immigrant and intitled to some healthy income tax breaks. I gotta think its about the same all over. Don't know where all this will lead us as a people, but i don't think its good at all. When one considers modern human history you gotta take into account, our propensity for :violent4::sport::violent3:. With that said, its been some time since we had a big blowout involving the entire industrialized world. Say 3 generations, with all the tension between nations, the animosity we have for unfamiliar peoples, inflation, soon to be oil/gas shortages, already food shortages in some areas, how long will it be before someone stronger starts to take from someone weaker? Strange times we live in.

Nobody has the guts to stand up and make a change, all we do is complain, saying "things are crap" etc, so why doesn't somebody do something about it? Someone with power should step up to the plate and think about the good of the future, instead of the present.

Having said that, they're not trying very hard to improve things the way there are, so what hope do we have

Cog...that's not true..everybody here can, but unfortunately it needs many more as well. If you'd have said "no one person can do it alone" I'd agree completely, but that's the main problem, everybody thinks they can't do it...so they think there's no point!!

That's more or less what I meant, it's very hard to get enough people to unify.
