    Hello everyone,
    Great forum :)
I have a SMK XB78 in .22. Does anyone recommend a good pellet? I am just hitting tin cans and the odd rat.
    Many thanks,
    Alan

I would reccommend JSB Exact Diabolo because they are hand picked for quality. Being a high quality pellet means they are expensive, put expence aside you will find HFT shooters prefer them because they are what they say on the tin, Exact

    Give them a try

Its the old try and see.
If you no other shooters perhaps you can try a few of their pellets if not i buy 10 tins of different makes. You will find one that is best.
Then with the others just use them up for paper mashing , once i chose one pellet but as i was using up others i switched.
It probably takes 100 pellets from each make to find out anyway then you will no.
Any advice like above is very useful so definately make them into your list.
Who knows you could come back and say try these and get thanks from them.

    You never know.

    regards

    decent pellets

Hi,There is a whole world of pellets out there.Enough for you to find several favourite types.
My boss' sisters' kid has the same gun as you. I think he used Crossman Acupells and got on alright. They're a bit pricey for plinking maybe?

    Thank you

Thanks for all the advice :)
I'll buy a few makes this weekend and try 50 or so of each firing at paper targets. Then make a choice. I expect I'll end up buying the cheapest!
    regards,
    Alan
