90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

The SCB is std mildot based with the addition of the cross stopping at 0.5 dots and the tip of the tree at 0.75 dots. Of course an indicated 10x may or may not be really 10x. There are pictures you can use to measure that. In fact I've found many scopes are out by a fair bit on the mag dial.

SCB ret details here on the MTC site.

If your using a variable mag scope you can "calibrate" the mag ring to ensure your mildots are true.

-Draw a line exactly 9 inches long on a piece of card,
-place at exactly 25 yards from the scope's objective,
-adjust the mag so that the line fits exactly between the thick posts at 12 & 6 O'clock
-make a small mark on the mag ring against the index mark on the scope. This is the mag at which the mildots are correct.

Just draw two bold lines 5.76 inch apart and place at 20 yds exactly from your scopes objective. 8 mil dots should exactly cover that distance at 10x. If it's more or less it's out.

Here you need to assume one thing. You can either assume your mag is correct and measure the spacing or assume the spacing is correct and measure the mag by the variance from the std. Given it's a SCB and supposedly correct at 10x I'd assume the latter and note at what indicated mag the lines are 8 dots. If you wish to shoot/measure on 6x then alter the distance of the lines appropriately.

I personally like Hawke scopes, but given a choice between a Hawke and an MTC, it would have to be the MTC everytime.
