90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

Just an update as to what the problem is. I contacted xtx yesterday and Darrin was very helpful and advised me to remove the new silencer i bought and do 10 test shots and the same again with the shroud off. Before i tried this i had taken it to a local gun shop, after going trough my problem with him he pointed out some marking on the silencer where the pellet was catching. He stated that it is a common fault on the early r10 that the barrels some times dont fit right, he also pointed out where my barrel has been drilled to stop the catching of the pellet and when i put the new silencer on it was this that started with the problems of the erratic grouping.

I did try with the silencer off and i didnt need to go any further as the gun was no longer erratic

I will later test the gun for pinpoint accuracy.....

Thanx for all the advise stated in the last thread

Good to hear you got it sorted matey:up:. Don't forget that if you take the shroud off for any reason the centralizing bushes must be fitted on the barrel before the shroud is returned to position otherwise pellets will clip the end plug/silencer.

You could always shitcan the entire shroud and go for the bare-barrel look? :)

Twink - excellent moderator/"silencer" made by Adi Waugh of A&M Gunsmiths.

Threaded - having a 1/2" UNF thread cut on the muzzle to accept a suitable moderator.
