I bought an Avalon archery case for my kozac.the gun sits nicely in it but the spongy material wont take an indentation to the shape of the gun.not a big problem but I would prefer the gun to be sunk into it a bit to stop any movement.if anyone has managed to sink the gun shape into the sponge then how did you do it please.

I haven't tried yet but think it might be difficult getting a blade to slice tidily and then cutting a flat base for gun to lay on will be a problem.just wanted to see if anyone has done it and what the best way is before I start hacking lumps out of the sponge and maybe making a pigs ear of it

The kozzie is quite deep especially with a scope on.
The Avalon case was 25 with delivery and holds the gun firmly in place but I would still prefer the gun sunk into the foam especially pellet tins and mags etc so they cant move about.i wonder if a heated pellet tin would melt and sink a perfect pellet tin size indentation into the foam
