90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

I've been getting into deer-stalking recently and have made some great friends who work for Jelen (who provide training courses for all sorts of deer management related stuff). I asked them for some help and advive as i am doing my DSC1 with them this coming june, and they were really helpful with advice on the course and invited me over to do some practice with their rifles!

They let me know that they have a new course up and running soon, which would be more of an introduction to deer and deer stalking, they are scheduled for Saturday 7th July this year at their Hampshire based training centre, and 11th of August at the JELEN DEER (EASTERN) branch at North Fambridge, Essex.

They said the course will focus on safe firearms handling and marksmanship, as well as field techniques and deer ecology of the six species. There will also be ample shooting practice with a variety of calibres.

For more information please EMAIL the guys at Jelen on office@jelendeer.com for a full information pack and booking form.

Hope this is of interest to you, they're a really helpful bunch (especially Danny and Malcom who i've met up with from the essex branch).

Not sure on cost of this course - I'm doing my DSC1 with them which is a 3 day course and it's just inder £300 quid. Sure they'll be able to give you al the info you need though if you send them an email.
