1. The Forum Rules have undergone some minor changes and updates.  Please take the time to read them; it will only take a couple of minutes of your time. By doing so, you lessen the chance of incurring the wrath of the moderation team or making yourself look foolish to other members.

90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

    Hi and welcome!

    Budget for rifle only?
S200 would be very light but it’s a bolt not a lever. But very light though.
    FX T12?

    Hi.

Sidelever will limit your options a bit - a Nice Pulsar in the for sale section at the moment. I would recommend going to a shop and shouldering the one you like the look of. As Sky says, there will be many different opinions, but its for you and its your money.

    Thanks

    Welcome to the forum

I can't help in your quest, as I use a Scorpion and it has a bolt.

Where in the Southwest are you?

Light side levers.... not many. S510 isnt heavy, also there is HW100 but i dont know about its weight.
Bolt action opens up other options like S200.

Take a look at a HW110? Lightweight, side lever and within your price range used.

Personally I would ditch the side lever limitation as there is loads out there for your second hand budget. A lot of bolt actions these days are smooth for cocking

As far as side levers go - S510 and HW100 IMO
