90% of users posting adverts in the Sales forums need to be reminded to read the rules as their posts are wrong.  This is unnecessarily time-consuming and will no longer happen - if your advert doesn't follow the Sales Rules it will be deleted and you'll have to start all over again.

  3. Dear members,

Our membership (like our country) consists of people from all walks of life; different in far more ways than can be listed here and each with a different view based on their experience of life - regardless of their colour, religion or cultural heritage. Every single person in the UK has been born of mixed race – we are a multi-coloured and multi-cultural country.

As many of you are aware there are a handful of individuals amongst this membership that persist in making provocative, inflammatory, racist and otherwise offensive comments. This has been happening across the forum to a certain degree but is most especially prevalent in the Adult section.

The moderation team has tried to stay on top of this, however unfortunately because of the ‘offensive’ nature of much of its content we don’t monitor the Adult section quite as much as perhaps we should. As a result much of this behaviour has gone unnoticed unless it has been reported to us. While the team always intended to take a "light touch" approach to the Adult section it would seem that some people aren’t quite adult enough to be left unmonitored after all.

This behaviour is, and always has been against Forum Rules as well as the specific stipulations of the Adults forum and it will no longer be tolerated. We feel it's time to draw a line in the sand and as such from this point onward offenders will receive an immediate and permanent ban from the forum.

In order for us to achieve our goal of restoring the forum to the friendly and tolerant place it once was, we ask that ALL members be mindful of the content they post and help us to stop unacceptable behaviour by using the 'Report' tool at the bottom of any offending post - the results of which can be seen only by Admin/Moderators.

You should all receive a copy of this message by PM.

  5. Postings on Politics, Religion & Controversial Off-Topic Material

The majority of users do not want to read about these subjects and people have left the forum as a result of it – this is after all an 'Airgun' Forum. It’s all very well to say they don’t have to read it if they don't want to, but as most of us use the ‘New Posts’ button there is no easy way to avoid it.

All AGF staff members are in favour of people being able to discuss what they want, but we have to draw the line somewhere if it is upsetting other users. We don’t want to read about these topics either.

IMPORTANT- The discussion of politics and religion is no longer allowed anywhere on the forum (including the Adult section).  The only exception is if it's airgun related - they must be put in the Airgun Related Politics section..

We will not tolerate bullying or personal attacks, racism or any other offensive 'isms'. we will remove these topics from the forum, we will not give you an area where you can abuse each other. We will not hesitate to ban offenders.

Hi everyone, I currently own a AGT Vulcan 2 tactic which I absolutely love to bits , it’s so nice to shoot and is the most accurate gun I’ve ever shot and I’ve shot most, the problem I have is it’s a bit long for my lad to handle properly, I’ve been thinking the uragan compact would be more suitable but before I go and look at one I thought I’d ask you guys on here. Is it as accurate as the Vulcan and does it shoulder nice and do you get much noise having your ear right on the mag, I wish I could keep the Vulcan and also buy the compact but this isn’t gonna happen especially being this close to Christmas and having 3 boys. I just don’t want to regret selling it and being disappointed. I really want to stick with AGT after owning one , the only other guns I’ve thought about is the edgun Layla 2.0 and the styre pro x scout but it’s a bit out of my price range.

    thanks in advance Paul

Awesome little devils they are. Don’t really shoot with anything else now unless I fancy a day at the range and then I only take the others for a little variety. I only take the compact to my perm and free hand/rest shoot with it. Only time I’ve put a pod on is at the range. With a .22 I’ll shoot 40 yards with very tight groups. AGT have my vote from now on

Yes does sound like a plan, if I sold most my guns I could probably keep my tactic and buy a compact and a Vulcan bullpup laminate, 3 reliable agt’s now you got me thinking

Definitely would agree..... don’t sell the Vulcan “it’s a keeper”

The Tactic is by far the best gun I’ve owned. (Accuracy and Quality Wise)

By all means buy the Uragan if you must to get something shorter and as there both made in the same AGT Factory, Quality will be Second to none. (Same CZ barrel)

Also look at the Vulcan II (other than the tactic), very compact rifles.

    I can say no more

I went for the Uragan Over the Vulcan 2 Laminate just because of length
The Vulcan’s look better than the Uragan, but sometimes it’s not all about looks

Ps I can definitely see myself owning a Vulcan 2 laminate one day

We have at last been accepted as a UK agent for both Vulcan and Uragan and the factory visit is back on within the next couple of weeks and will include a UK service agent agreement.

Hopefully, they will allow some factory photos which I will post (if allowed)

Getting quite excited. (Sorry) , a bit childish!

Many would disagree, but AGT are turning out some fabulous guns.

(New kids on the block comes to mind).

P.S. The Vulcan II Laminate is just stunning!

    Hi Paul
As you know I had the Vulcan tactic 2 (.177) and the Uragan compact (.22) at the same time
Both unbelievably accurate. If I’m totally honest the Vulcan probably edged it but maybe that was because of the longer barrel
Only sold the Vulcan as I had a Steyr Pro X Scout itch I needed to scratch:up:

We all have our preferences. The Steyr Pro X Scout is a fab gun.

Is it better than the Vulcan.... who knows? I think that’s what I love about this forum, we all have our personal preferences, and what good for one is not necessarily good for another.

    We love what we like.

    Enjoy, what ever you have.

    My dear forum member,

You have misunderstood my meaning. Yes, I know AGT Has been around for some considerable time, but not one of the preferential rifles of choice.

Probably it’s taken some time to get it right.... like all things.

And “No, I have not been asleep “

I have been into air rifles for over 60 years and take your comment with some contempt.

If you know better than me..... then so be it.

An unnecessary comment to make! But hay ho!
