    I do watch Scott Rea quite a bit and I have just noticed he put up this old Vid of Jack Hargreaves. If I ever get given a whole pig I know where to look for advice on butchering it.

    No Peter, cockneys from the East end (London) had roast for dinner and seafood at tea time (cockles,welks,winkles and roll mops etc.)

    actually I still do there's a pie'n'mash shop in Walthamstow market that's been there totally original with marble counters and sawdust on the floor (truth) I have been going there since I was a baby and brought up on it.

    I have had pie and mash a couple of times, I wouldn't mind it again, but I am rarely in London.

    a good few yrs back they had a pie n mash stand at Walthamstow dog track it was lovely jubbly:D

    no only ever went there for the dogs was a great track but like most tracks there all finished sadly
