i just make a small incision big enough to get my finger in and then rip down the muscle with my fingers, then grasping firmly by the front legs swing and flick and the guts are gone. sometimes i dont need a knife at all.

seen this on another forum ,had ago on the last rabbit i shot ,i didn't make it look as easy as he made it look ,but it worked well for first attempt
Yep tried that one, it does work or atleast it did for me, havent had another go as a fox has been on the land so owner has left it up to him to sort the bunnies![]()

My Father showed me this way as a kid. I did post on someone else's video this same type of method after they posted a rabbit gutting video..

When you gut and skin do you just wash and put in pot or do you need to strip the membrane that covers the meat? I think thats what it is. Its like a second thin skin that once removed reveals the lovely meat.
