    I saw a gun in Air Gunner magazine that had a real tree pattern but the texture was 'Rubbery to the touch', just wondered if you did that at all?

    It was probably the stock that was a synthetic one with a rubber feel to it i just done a howa rifle which felt the same hope this helps
