Not as far as im aware. they need to be secured so that minors cannot have access to them. This would mean many gun cabinets with glass fronts would become useless.

Hi the new laws of 2011 regarding underage access are merely to secure the gun ie trigger lock of some sort and seperate secure pellet storage, the gov't site I read suggests 1. trigger locks and 2. cash box is sufficient.
A security hole will now be in the right side by the trigger giving the option of a trigger cable lock(Jack pyke for example) through the rack so securing the gun and a cash box is readily available for around £10 or less, I use a cash box myself fitted to the wall.

Hi I have just started producing specialist scoped air rifle racks for wall mounting to keep those prized rifles off the floor and out of harms way!!!

One of the great features of my racks is they are modular that is stackable with the locating dowels supplied so if you want to display 2 or 3 rifles or more that is coped with in the the design, you can even omit the shelf unit other than the base unit shelf if so desired for that cleaner look!!!

Hello all I have revised the design to be law compliant by adding a security hole on the right side by the trigger gaurd for use with trigger cable lock, therefore locking the rifle to the rack, thanks to your input many thanks.
Also I decided to finish in beech satin varnish for that out the box use. Matching many beech stocks, I think it looks nice but may be persuaded to go with antique pine later on as it may match furniture and is slightly darker.
These racks are now being handbuilt by skilled carpenters and handfinished too, designed to be modular and for strength and longevity a very secure way of storing your rifles and I think attractive also.
Prices however remain unchanged at £54.95 each plus p&p.

Hi nope just that they are secure from children ie secured ammo cash box etc and a trigger lock or trigger cable lock.

Hi everyone, I have revised the range not only to include the security hole for use with trigger cable locks but now in two colours beech and antique pine satin varnish, also made possible a lower unit price of £29.50 and available through ebay or tobyracks.co.uk or of course here, postage is now £10.50p so overal £40 per unit a saving of £14.95.
