The fact is that we live in a democracy, so any individual can, within the law, do what they wish, politics-wise. If old Tone wants to try and persuade people to change their decision, then that's fine, no matter how arrogant and unsavoury he may be. He can want as much as he likes to re-educate people to his way of thinking, and want to hold another referendum; I have no problem with him wanting those things.

However, as the man's a complete tit who sold out the working class in a manner not seen since the Great War, I shan't be listening, personally.

Yes but like him or loathe and i suspect there's far more in the second camp now, certainly after Iraq, but he did make the Labour Party electable which until he became leader was, as it is now, unelectable to any level headed fair minded individual. The Labour Party now is little more than a joke even to many of its own supporters and its membership consists mainly of extreme left wing individuals such as former Militant members, closet marxists, trotskyists and various other disgruntled hard left types along with the more gullible and naive members/supporters that regard Corbyn as some sort of messiah who's going to lead them to some sort of socialist utopia or land of milk and honey so to speak.Well i've got one thing to say to them,"it won't happen so get real FFS please".

The man's arrogance, shamelessness, greed and misplaced sense of entitlement know no bounds it seems - I can think of few candidates who'd be more deserving of being burnt at the stake for crimes against humanity, tbh.
Rather than asking me questions by PM, please post tech queries to the forum and request my input. This way everyone can contribute and benefit

Don't get me wrong, Patrick - I wasn't supporting him in any way, shape or form, just pointing out that if that's his bag then he's entitled to it. He only made the Labour party electable by watering down its principles, riding the crest of a populist wave, exploiting the fact that the country was in a time of surplus and high employment etc etc. Basically he was the first of the Tory-lite scumbags who sold out in order to get in.

Given we know he has no principles I wouldn't be surprised to find he's a paid Brexiteer plant designed to put Remainers off the whole thing

I know if I wanted to ruin an entire movement he'd be the one I'd hire to promote it.

I agree with JRK. Everyone is entitled to free speech, however, his speech ain't free IMHO, he has never done anything that didn't feather his own nest, and I definitely don't believe that he has altruistic intent in any of his ramblings.

The only reason that anyone is taking any notice of his interfering is because of his previously held status. If he was a Joe Bloggs on the street, no-one would give a monkeys.

Fact is, he's trying to overtly mess with the political direction of the Country because HE doesn't agree with Article 50. Let's face it, he was the idiot trying to drag us into the Euro, that is enough evidence to wreck any credence he has. The fact he isn't directly involved in the Political system entitles him to nothing and his views should be scrapped from even being mentioned in Westminster. Anyone ever told a police officer how to do their job? How'd that end up working out? The situation is the same.

If he want's to be actively involved in British Politics now, then he should do what every other citizen has the right to do. Fill out the form and run for election.

I think, in possibly an internet first (never mind forum first), we may just have a unanimous political consensus on what a monumental twunt he is and that he shouldn't be allowed on even a town council.

As much as I agree with the rest of your post, please God don't say this last bit too loudly; he might go getting ideas about a reunion tour. Just imagine...
