    What a total dick
What looks right, is not necessarily right.
But what looks wrong, is definitely not right!

Agree with that Rob. I have absolutely no time for him and his anti-shooting cohorts who use their public positions (funded by you and I) to further their agenda. When it's factually incorrect it leaves me positively foaming at the mouth!

It's amazing to see a fair percentage of the tweets asking what he's going on about. Where's his proof!! Change of habitat is more likely the cause.

One would think/hope if he were anywhere near the kind of environmentalist he likes to portray himself as, he would have a better understanding of some of the pressures that can be impacting on, not only the lapwing but other birds species throughout the UK - not need the bleeding obvious pointing out to him. They're doing better on managed moorland than anywhere else and directly benefit from predator control which can impact on all ground-nesting birds. Too eager to demonize the shooting community to his adoring lackeys. I notice it's still up on his Facebook page. Delete button not working?

Tbh i am in complete agreement with you, but i very much doubt he actually posted the original post anyway hence the later apology. Most likely been posted by the bbc junior . Agree the post could be deleted and im sure it wlil be in due course. For what its worth i think nature manages very well by itself before man comes along and f**ks it up!
