    Tough Rabbit

    Folks,

I'm needing a little help. I cooked my first rabbit last Friday using the River Cottage Madras recipie but to say it was tough would be an understatement.

It was good size for a rabbit and was cooked off the bone for about 45 mins. What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks

Im the other half of Stu and he asked me to advise you on how to cook a nice rabbit

section it into 4 first, put in a dish or pan, cover in boiling water start off on the top of stove with oxo, add veg like turnip, leek, potatoes, carrots, onions & mushrooms, put into oven on really low, like about number 2 or 3 at most, i leave mine for about 3 hours just keep turning the rabbit, and veg about every hour or so, and after a few hours thicken up on top of oven again with gravy granules, voila !

Thats how i cook a nice tender Rabbit

    Hope it helps Lisa x
