Very basic but very tasty tried this Sataurday night when out camping.
Young rabbit jointed with the saddle cut away, marinated in a bottle of Aldi Satay sauce for a few hours.
Throw on the BBQ cooked slowly though for about 1/2 hr either on fewer coals or lifted high on the grate
Blimming lovely and tender and very tasty with a glass of Richard Dreys Dornfelder red wine![]()

Sounds laaarvaarly!!!!
Slight confession I did cook it up at midnight after having a few but the other more sober members of camp said it was cracking!!
Sounds good - I've been soaking some rabbit meat in pear cider for a coule of days now, just added some diced onion this morning, and I might put some peppers in it later, ready to cook tonight.
Planning to pour (most of) the excess cider away, a couple of spoons of olive oil in the bottom of the frying pan, some mushrooms (and now, definitely) some peppers; cook on low, until meat is done all the way through.
Most probably on top of some boiled rice.
im impressed! although i rarely have a glass of wine to hand when im camping..... specially not if im on an overnight with the rifle! sounds bloody tasty though! mmmmm .............. satay bunny!
