    Just a quick question to all members who dabble in the culinary arts.
    Do you leave wood pigeon to cool over night or do you breast it ASAP after shooting

    I put the breasts in a lock and lock box to take home. Wash them at home then freeze or put them in the fridge. I always cook them on the bone. Cheers andy

    I pluck the breast and cut the breasts off in the field and put them in a zippy bag. fry them 1 min a side and eat like fillet steak - yumsk!

    Well I've had a bash at it
    this was the first one he'd been eating plenty of gruband produced some decent sized breasts along with the ones off the other woodie
