    Rabbit Burgers?

    Has anyone made rabbit burgers?

I bought a mincer today, and have got some made up to go on the BBQ tomorrow. I was just wondering how other people have got on with them.

Hoping the family are going to like them as well.

Not had a go myself but there was some good info in this thread:

    Bunny burgers

I'm looking forward to trying some rabbit kebabs (skewer style) on the BBQ in a chilli marinade.

It's great meat, no fat, utterly free range, humanely dispatched, tender and tasty.

There are sadly plans afoot to create 6 enormous battery rabbit farms in the UK, apparently several already exist. I hate intensive animal farming.

    Sausages

I quite like the idea of making a rabbit and pigeon sausage, maybe a quarter rabbit a quarter pigeon and half sausage meat with a few herbs similar to the bunny burger recipe.. We got the father in law a sausage making machine for Christmas so I'm going to get a bit of help from him..

Another couple of months and i reckon i'll have a go... got a good few rabbit in the freezer but not so many pigeon at the min so i'll have to do something about that...
