Beware of scammers

Do not send money to a first time poster, only buy if you can go and collect it and pay cash. If they make comments like the price will go up in an hour, they are trying to get you to buy quick and are very suspect.
Ask a mod to check for other accounts from the same ip addres.
Ask them for a photo of the gun with a peice of paper in the picture with your name on it, if they really have the gun then this should not be a problem.
If the gun is very cheap then don't send money, only buy if you can go and view.

Yeh i asked a guy for this the other day, he said no, so i asked for him to put a shoe in the picture, hard to find on google and he still said no!

you should have to have a certain amount of posts before you can sell , if they are genuine and want to sell they will stick around if not they go else where , i know you will miss out on good deals but would rather miss a good deal than get ripped off by some scrote thats a first time poster .

That wouldn't stop them, people need to be aware paying by paypal gift or bank transfer leave you open to fraud common sense is needed even with people with lots of feedback.

see what your sayin but most are likely to only have a couple of posts if there scammers there not going to post loads say 100 posts then scam someone because its not worth the time plus to get 100 post you have to have some idea about airgunning , most dont they scam one place then leave . ( 100 posts is just a rough number )

When I first posted on here it raised a few eyebrows you can't treat people as if their guilty until they convince you they are innocent without ruining a site like this. I am afraid it will always be buyer beware but take sensible precautions and if in doubt back out!

Hi think i have been scammed i just wish i had of read this before . I paid someone called MrPrecise £60 for a ratcatcher on the 11th and had nothing and no replies to e-mails . Is there anyone can check him out for other accounts

He was online yesterday but logged of before you sent him a PM, his ip matches his location and he is not showing as having any other accounts under his ip address.
