    Question

    Andy

i shot the display (accidentally) of my chrony F-1 and the digits on the left hand side can't be read...

would i be able to use the F-1 by wiring it to a laptop?

    anyone know??

    regards, john

If it's just the display that's shot and nothing else I don't see why not.

I'd say yes. The chrony should still be sending serial data when theres a shot even though the screen is cracked.

Plug some headphones into the jack on the left of the Chrony, turn it on, get someone to wave their hand over the chrony as fast as they can and you should hear a *bzzzd bsd* Thats it sending data.

Got my lead today Stot, just had a go with me Anschutz with new leather seal running in. Your graphs work OK in fps and m/s but are a bit out on ft/lbs. Most of the shots are around 10ft/lbf not 20ft/lbf.

    Joules is also wrong.

    Cool stuff.

Ill take a look at the ftlb graphs, the way Google charts the graphs I have to work out what percentage each value is of the highest value available. Must be due to the low numbers envolved but ill sort it.
