Good evening,
Im very obviosuly new to the forum so hello. Also new to the airgun scene.
The last time i fired anything was the L98 cadet rifle around 12 years ago at RAF Cosford and .22 air rfiles before that so i expect to be a bit rusty.
Main aim of my upcoming purchase is primarly rabbit/bird hunting but after plenty of practice of course!
I have ordered a Crosman Phantom .22 and should collect on Saturday if delivery into the shop goes as planned
I wont be alone in the hobby as i have a friend who is also making his first purcahse on Saturday and one other who has been shooting for many years and has a few permisions around the local area. Need to get more though now that my mates usual quarry will be divied between the three of us.
Just to note insurance is already purchased.
Any comments and tips appreciated
Cheers
Chris

SA80 quality!
Did you manage to get any powered flights?
I had one 20 minute in a a bulldog or chipmunk (not sure what it was as it was so long ago).
How long have you been into airguns?
Chris
didn't get to the point of gliders or anything :-(
I've only recently gotten into air guns but its bringing out the 15 year old in me all over again!

I was in the army cadets and was allowed to fire the LSW standing up, and it knocked me down! Luckolly it was only on the SAT range, but the kick is the same, when we went out on camps and such I always loved blagging the lsw nd giving **** loads of covering fire!
