    Evening all

    Hello to all. I'm Rich from Hythe. Just thought I'd say hello as I've been reading through the forums for a couple of months now. I used to shoot a very nice HW77k, a Tempest and a Hurricane about 15 years ago and have since not owned anything since.

    I'll be looking for advice from you fine people in the future regarding a new rifle, thinking of a BSA Lightning for pest control and some garden plinking - but that'll be at the end of Feb. For now I'm trying to get to grips with a mk5 Meteor that has seen better days - pellets stuck, scratches, rust!

    Anyway, I'm off for some more reading

    Gasman, thanks for the info. I'll keep my eyes open for a cheaper HW, as was only looking to budget about £150ish, hence the Lightning. Guess I'll have to squirrel a little more away from the wife
