My gun's are tool's not weapons
Yes, it seems that it wasn't actually an airgun article in the Airgun Magazine, but a survival article for the benefit of Australians (who incidentally don't have wood pigeons) so they can get home to their families safe, providing they have a bowl of water, loaf of bread and an air rifle to hand of course. And all the photos weren't taken in the UK where baiting pigeons with bread could be unlawful, even though the article implied that they were, and it's all a misunderstanding because a magazine writer wrote it all down instead of speaking it. But it doesn't really matter because all fees were allegedly donated to charity.
So that's allright then![]()
baiting woodies could be unlawfull. i was with the understanding that you thought it was was unlawfull.
And to imply that someone is lying on this site is out of order,![]()

I know. But in order for it to get proven you first have to be caught. I am not suggesting for one second that anyone should break the law, I am a (fairly) decent, law abiding citizen but this "baiting for woodpigeon" subject does seem to be somewhat of a grey area. I have been reading alot of interesting threads/posts on the subject and there seems to be contradicting evidence in my mind.
I'm never going to try it myself as I don't see the need and don't want to take the risk, but now even decoying is looking like a grey area![]()

You could always say you were shooting your own decoys for practice? I used to when I was slot younger instead of waiting for birds lol
