"You can get knock off" what does this mean???

In all types of hunting baiting is used and in any book it descrbes how to use baiting so i cant see any problem using it.

cant see why you pointed this out in the first place as it was so obvious that baiting was giving as an alternative in this question

It means, I'll explain it very slowly for you, .......If I put food out in my garden, deliberately inticing wild birds (In this case a pigeon, that also is a wild bird) for me to shoot them, the RSPCA will take me to court, and win ..clear

    The thread is about decoys.

No need to say it slowly, unless you have a problem in communicating.
baiting was suggested as an alternative, for what i understood was shooting on a permission in which you would have an agreement on what you shoot if they are a pest.
i never shoot quarry in the garden.

Define pest for you, if a pigeon is being a pest, its damaging crops then you can lawfully shoot it, so if you are putting food out for it, its not a pest...

Here you go, read about pests BASC - Wood Pigeon Code of Practice

If you are planning a trip out to shoot pigeons in the rain look out for tall trees on the edge of a rapeseed field. That's where they are likely to be.

Put the kettle on as you leave home because after the first shot you'll never see the again until after the rain stops. Might as well go back home.
