Just to add guys, was looking on Cabelas this morning and they have Rabbit scent sticks on sale, anyone used these for foxing before?
This is a discussion on Foxing last night with new Sako Quad 22lr within the Hunting forums, part of the Airguns category; Originally Posted by hun73r666 unlucky mate! whats your fox caller like? Does it mimic another fox or does it sound ...
You dont want your fox caller too loud. Little mouse squeaks work very well. If calling them in close you are often better off with a shotgun they dont sit still for long once they are in close. We use a ucaller it is good as it is remote controlled you can set it up away from your position and the fox is not looking at you as he comes in. You can do the same with 2 mobile phones set the ring tone on one as a rabbit squeal etc place away from you a few yards then phone it as needed
