What is the power required for a clean kill on most birds ?
I have a crosman 1077 so power is'nt the best, what distance would you say is the max for a clean kill ?
Also I would appreicaite any tips if you have any.

i think these things put out around 7lb ft...so i would say head shots upto 10m max
Really that much ?
I thought birds would require much less energy for a kill :/
no some birds are like tanks. Its not a hunting gun mate, its a garden plinker![]()
I was told it should take out pests and birds easily with a possibility for small game hunting. I guess I should't trust gun dealers for advice haha.
You better duck the ricochet if you shoot it at a crow! Those birds are like batfink!

What do you mean by most birds?
Birds you would find in your garden. I can't name any as I know next to nothing about birds.
Then you'd better read up and WELL before you aim your crosshairs on anything live, if you can't tell the difference between a feral, woodie, what a crow looks like or a magpie, you could end up in the crap, Also the main point, You shouldn't be killing random things that pop up into your back garden anyways.
