Result !!!

So there I was having turned up at my new permission and the sun was out.... It looked like it was about 30 degrees, trouble is looks are very deceptive. Had a chat with the farmer and he showed me the corner of the field that needs sorting first. I got this permission as his dad owns the other farm( my first permission I gained) and looks as if I have passed any tests and have been let on this one now.bonus as it is 125 acres and cleared sec1 up to deer calibre. Anyway, was told I could drive onto land but don't get stuck as I don't drive a 4x4. Away Hunting rabbits I went , in the tranquility and warmth of my car with the radio on !!!. One feel quickly to a flying wasp. Had to get out the car now..!. Got used to the warmth abit me thinks .Got back into car and drove on round a 42acre field to find more. None to be had so I went to other permission down the road. Spoke to farmer, left him the previous rabbit for his dog and he promptly gave me a baikal shotgun for my troubles !!!. Absolutely free... Spot on. Couldn't get a nicer bloke. Said it was on his shotty cert for years and has not used it so gave it to me in return for a bit of pest control. Cant argue with that now can we. All paperwork done and sent off now, down the RFD's for some cartridges tomorrow and then back down the perms to show willing. A lamping date is brewing soon I think.

Sorry mate... I got loads of my mates queuing up to come... Looks like I'm on to a good thing here. You never know what happens if you keep the landowner sweet.
